Hi, you need these Sensors for the ECU. It`s for the fuel cut-off. Without these Signals runs the Engine very bad.
The Engine is electronically controlled.
In addition, you also need the electronic throttle.
I can make Pictures on Weekend, then you can see what i mean.

You have to look for an engine 1Z/AHU/ALE, they was build in the years - 1999 in nearly all cars, like Golf3/4, Seat, Skoda, Audi 80 Type89/B4, A4B5, A6 and so on. Your best buy can be an Audi 80 B4 with a 90hp-engine,because of parts for exaust and steering as Uwe told you. Don´t buy a newer engine like ALH or newer, they don´t fit plug´n´play. Kilometers about 300k are not the problem, you only have to check the injektors, if they are wrong, they can damage the engine.

Bought myself an Audi 200 5T, it's taking up some time and gas now But this summer I want to build the TDI in my 32b, still looking for a good audi80TDI...

The audi 200 is going for sale again, this thursday I am picking up a complete engine (170t km) and steering, computer and exhaust from an 1994 Audi 80 TDI!

Any small parts I should whatch out for? Parts I should not forget to take from the audi to build in to my 32b?

Isn't it easier to fix some engine mounts to put the engine on the subframe? Welding the 80 mounts in the car seems much more work...

I think the Subframe from the Audi should go in the Passat without Welding.
My Engine was implanted by the last Vehicle Owner.

Do anyone know more about the Subframe ? Pado ? Weichei65 ?

In your car the engine mounts from the audi are welded into the Passat. I am going to look for a possibility to fit the engine on the subframe, have the engine in my shed, and a loose subframe, so I can play a little

Hi, the Motorbrackets are not weldet !
But you can take them from a JN Engine too. They fit also...
